Blind Box & Bag Roundup 43. (Kingdom of Cute Vinylmations)

July 12, 2017

Vinylmation x WonderGround Gallery Kingdom of Cute
Happy Wednesday and welcome to another edition of Blind Box & Bag Roundup! Ever since the Vinylmation x WonderGround Gallery Kingdom of Cute blind boxes were released last month, I’ve been itching to get my hands on them (they’re so cute!). This new series features classic Disney ‘icons’ such as Space Mountain, Dole Whips, the Sword in the Stone, Sleeping Beauty Castle and many more, turned into adorable Vinylmation figures! Sadly, they sold out at the Disney Parks (and online) almost immediately after being released (I guess I wasn’t the only one who thought they were adorable!). Seriously, it’s been a while since I’ve seen a Vinylmation series generate this much buzz. No really, I saw people selling unopened boxes on eBay for $50+ (that’s insane!). Luckily, while I was at Disney World a few weeks ago, WonderGround Gallery restocked the Kingdom of Cute Vinylmations. So of course I had to pick some up. Although I really love Vinylmation’s (you can check out more Vinlymation openings HERE), I haven’t really bought any lately because there’s just so expensive ($12 per figure definitely adds up FAST!) Even though this has got to be my FAVORITE Vinylmation set to be released thus far, I decided to only pick up two Kingdom of Cute Vinylmations (since they were $18.99!).  Continue reading

Blind Box & Bag Roundup 34. (Disney Park Series #16 Vinylmations)

Park Series 16 Vinylmation
Happy Monday and welcome to another edition of Blind Box & Bag Roundup! If you checked out my latest Disney World Haul, then you may recall that I picked up two Park Series #16 Vinylmations while I was at Disney World last month. I actually picked up the Park Series #16 Vinylmations from Disney’s Character Warehouse for only $3 (which is a STEAL since Vinylmations are usually $12+). Although I really love Vinylmation’s (you can check out more Vinlymation openings HERE), I haven’t really bought any lately (although I ALMOST bought the adorable new Beauty and the Beast ones) because there’s just so expensive ($12 per figure definitely adds up FAST!). That’s why I was super happy to find these Park Series #16 Vinylmations at Disney’s Character Warehouse (you know I’m always down for a good bargain!).  Continue reading

Blind Box & Bag Roundup 20. [Peter Pan Vinylmations]

Peter-Pan-Vinylmation-Series
Happy Friday! I can’t believe its been almost three months (?!) since my last Blind Box and Bag Roundup post (man, time sure does fly by!) The funny thing is, it’s not like I haven’t been buying blind boxes recently. In fact, I have piles of new figures (including Aladdin Vinylamtions, Disney Villians Figural Keyrings and new LEGO minifigures) laying around my house. Usually, as soon as I buy new blind boxes (or blind bags), I take all of the photos for my BB&BR posts immediately so I can open them that day. The problem is, I always forget to upload them (my bad!) Since I’ll be traveling so much this month (I’m heading to New York City in four days and then immediately after, I’m heading to Disneyland for Mickey’s Halloween Party) and because I’m still in the process of switching from Blogger to WordPress (hopefully everything should be transferred over and up and running by next week), I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to post as frequently. Luckily, I have three BB&BR posts lined up and ready to go so there won’t be a huge gap between postings (hooray!) If you read my Summer 2015 Disney World Haul, you might recall that I picked a few Peter Pan Vinylmations during my Disney World trip.

Blind Box & Bag Roundup 18. [Disney Vinylmation’s]

Cinderella Vinylmation, 101 Dalmatians Vinylmation, Disney Vinylmation blind box
Happy Wednesday! Welcome to another edition of Blind Box & Bag Roundup. Today’s BB&BR is dedicated to my favorite blind boxes: (at the moment) Vinylmation’s! I’ve been waiting AGES for the Disney Cinderella Vinylmation’s and 101 Dalmatians Vinylmation’s to go on sale and last week they finally did. Since these two Vinylmation series’ have been out for a while (Cinderella came out in January and 101 Dalmatians came out in February,) they’re currently on sale for only $5.99 (which is AWESOME compared to their regular price of $12.95!) Side note: I’ve FINALLY finished my Disney Gallery wall (you can see some of it behind the Vinylmation boxes!) It took a few hours but I finally did it! So far the gallery wall consists of some of my Disney Postcards and Pixar Postcards! Continue reading

Blind Box & Bag Roundup 17. [Star Wars Vinylmation]

May the fourth be with you_Star Wars Vinylmation_Star Wars Vinylmation series 4_disney star wars vinyls
Happy Monday! Welcome to another edition of Blind Box & Bag Roundup! Today’s BB&BR is dedicated to the one and only Star Wars! More specifically, Disney Star Wars Vinylmation’s Series 4. I picked these up a few weeks ago from the Disney Store (they were on clearance for $5.99) and I thought what better day to open them then on May 4th (aka May the 4th Be With You!) I’m a HUGE Star Wars fan so I was super excited to find this at such a reasonable price. It’s crazy because even though I love Star Wars, these are the first Star Wars Vinylmation’s I’ve ever bought (I have a Series 1 Stormtrooper but I got it through a trade at D Street in Downtown Disney.) If you haven’t noticed, I’ve recently started collecting Vinylmation’s more seriously. In fact, I was organizing my collection last week and noticed I have well over 30! Even though they can be little pricey (that $12.95 adds up,) older series are usually on sale anywhere from $5.99-$9.99 at the Disney Store.  Continue reading
