Happy Thursday. I was suppose to post this Wednesday/Yesterday but I had to stay late at work. Anyway…I’m so glad it’s finally Thursday because I’m at Disney World! Yay! I’ve missed my second home/ Disney World so much. I’m forever grateful that I have a job/work for a company that allows me to travel so much.
Speaking of traveling, I spent last weekend (well, like a day and a half) in DC. While in DC I got to visit the National Portrait Gallery. As so all know, I love me some museums! (And this one is exception).
Here are some photos from the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C.
One of the things I really like about visiting DC/DC in general is the fact that most of the museums are free. Man, if the museums here in Chicago were free I don’t know what I’d do with myself! Although, Chicago does have lots of “free” museums days throughout the year so i am grateful for that.
Whenever I see Anna Wintour I automatically think of The Devil Wears Prada. Speaking of The Devil Wears Prada, have you guys heard they are making it into a Broadway musical? And it’s having it’s Pre-Broadway premiere in Chicago! (Yay!).
There’s this awesome exhibition at the museums right now called “In Mid-Sentence”. I really liked it. The power of communication is amazing thing.
There’s just something about art galleries that make me so happy.
What a GORGEOUS portrait. Obama, you are truly missed (at least by me) in the White House. Fun Fact: I got to meet Obama when I was in second grade back when he was the Illinois state senator. One of the many perks of being from Chicago!
Michelle I didn’t forget about you! Another fun fact: one of my moms best friends went to high school with Michelle Obama. (She was a freshman when Michelle was a senior!).
The only thing better than art galleries? Empty art galleries!
Same girl, same.
Tag yourself in this photo in the comments below. LOL. I’m the girl in the black dress in the distant watching all of the drama.
