If you’ve been following this blog for a while, or if you follow along on IG, than you know I’m a HUGE Broadway lover! Due to the pandemic, I haven’t been to a Broadway show since March 2020. And even though Broadway reopened back in September, I still wasn’t sure if I was comfortable enough to start going to shows again. Sure I love Broadway, but I value my health above everything.
Without getting to controversial or starting up a debate, I will say that I am fully vaccinated (and I’m getting my boaster next week!) and take this pandemic seriously. (My hand sanitizer game is STRONG!).
With that being said, thankfully the Chicago theatre scene is also taking great precautions.
In order to attend a Roadshow show you must be fully vaccinated/show your vac card and ID. Right now concerts in Chicago are allowing you to just have a negative covid test but Broadway is taking it a step further. (Which is what made me so comfortable to go!).
I’m so HAPPY Broadway is back because I missed going to the theatre so much. There’s a ton of amazing musicals and plays heading to Chicago next year and I can’t wait to see them all!
