Is it just me or is getting mail one of the best feelings in the world?! Packages, letters, catalogs, heck even junk mail, I love it all! Last week I got a special package in the mail: a Japan Candy Box! Japan Candy Box is a Japanese Candy Subscription Box filled with hand-picked quirky Japanese sweets & snacks!
I’m a huge fan of all of things kawaii and that includes food! I love getting to try out different types of snacks from around the globe. If you’re like me and love tasting out new snacks, Japan Candy Box is well worth the $18+/month (with free WORLDWIDE shipping!).
Here’s what was in my Japan Candy Box:
If you’ve been following this blog for awhile then you already know how much I love mystery surprises! In fact, I plan on buying a bunch of blind bag pins packs at Disney World when I visit in two weeks so I can update my Blind Box & Bag Roundup series. While we’re on the topic of Disney blind boxes, I’m so bummed that the WonderGround Gallery x Vinylmation Kingdom of Cute Series sold out so fast (it literally sold out in a few hours) because the figures were so kawaii and awesome. Speaking of Kawaii, the awesome folks at Kawaii Box reached out to me not to long ago and asked if I’d like to review their new Blippo Surprise Kawaii Mixed Bag (and of course I couldn’t resist!). What’s a Blippo Surprise Kawaii Mixed Bag you might ask? A Blippo Surprise Kawaii Mixed Bag is a mystery bag packed with a random assortment of cute and practical items (basically it’s every kawaii lovers dream!). Continue reading
Back in April, EsianMall contacted me and asked if I would like to review an EsianBox and of course I said yes (you all know how I love snail mail and all things kawaii!). EsianBox is a curated collection of awesome snack or beauty items, that also includes merch from the best pop culture franchises delivered to your door every month. There are three different EsianBox subscriptions to choose from: the mystery tee box, which includes one exclusively licensed T-shirt and two super cool goodies, the snack box, which comes in three sizes and includes a total of 5-14 snacks and 1-2 geek gear items and the beauty box, which includes 5-8 makeup and skincare products and 1-2 Geek-chic fashion items. As you can probably tell from the photo above, I opted for the snack box (I just LOVE Asian snacks so much!). Continue reading
Is it just me or is getting mail the best feeling in the world?! Packages, letters, catalogs, heck even junk mail, I love it all! I love snail mail so much even though I’m usually the one sending it (sometimes it’s better to give than to receive!) On the rare occasion that a friend (or anyone) does send my a letter or package, it definitely becomes the highlight of that day! Since Monday was my birthday, I got a bunch of fun packages and birthday cards in the mail all weekend long. Among my pile of awesome birthday mail surprises was a Kawaii Box! Kawaii Box is a monthly subscription service that sends you a box filled with a carefully selected mix of unique Japanese and Korean kawaii products. Each month you can expect to get 10-12 adorable Kawaii items delivered right to your front door! If you’re like me and love all things adorable, Kawaii Box is well worth the $20+/month (with free WORLDWIDE shipping!) Continue reading
Happy Wednesday! Can you believe that Christmas is only FOUR days away? Since I’m spending the holidays in Paris (I leave TOMORROW), my family spent last weekend opening up all of our Christmas presents (shoutout to Santa for delivering all the gifts a week early to accommodate our travel plans!). If it wasn’t obvious from all my blind box and bag openings, I LOVE a good surprise! It’s always so much fun opening up something and not knowing exactly what you’ll get (speaking of opening things/gifts, I’m so grateful for all the wonderful gifts I got for Christmas this year!). That’s why I love subscription boxes, it’s like Christmas every month (and who doesn’t love Christmas?)! If you know me, or if you checked out my YumeTwins review last week, then you already know that I’m OBSESSED with Japanese culture and all things kawaii (seriously, it’s the BEST)! That’s why I was super excited when YumeTwins contacted me and asked if I wanted to review not only one of their YumeTwins boxes (you can check out that review HERE) but one of their TokyoTreat boxes as well!
