Hi! I can’t believe it’s been TWO MONTHS since my last post… How is that possible? I’ve just been so busy busy busy with work, home renovation, working on special projects, planning trips and of course, getting ready for the holidays! It’s crazy to think that Thanksgiving is next week and Christmas is a little over a month away. I don’t know about you guys but I’m SO excited for Thanksgiving food next week. Turkey. Mac and cheese. Stuffing. SWEET POTATO PIE.

Okay, I need your honest opinion. Which do you prefer pumpkin pie or sweet potato pie? For me it’s not even close. Sweet potato pie is the clear winner. I guess it has to do with the fact that I LOVE sweet potatoes (and just potatoes in general) and I’m not a big fan of pumpkin. In fact, the first time I ever tasted a pumpkin flavored dessert that I actually enjoyed was a few years ago at Disneyland. I got a Mickey shaped pumpkin cupcake. But it tasted more like carrot cake than anything.

But that’s just my opinion.

My LEAST favorite season (fall, winter + spring > summer) is FINALLY over, so you know what that means: It’s officially fall! YAY! If you read my last post, then you already know that I start decorating for fall/Halloween (and holidays in general) super early. In my last post I showed some cute Halloween decor from Micheals. But let’s not forget about our favorite furry friends!

My dog Loki is just as into holidays as me. (I mean I can’t really blame him, look who raised him). So I decided to run to Petco to see what adorable Halloween themed decor, treats, toys and snacks they had to offer.

If you’ve been following along with this blog over the years then you’d know I’m a HUGE holiday lover. No seriously, I am OBSESSED with holidays. Honestly obsessed is putting it lightly. I’ve never met someone who was in love with holidays as much as me. I can’t explain why but there’s something about decorating for holidays and just holiday decor in general that just makes me happy. And shouldn’t we all be encouraging each other to do more of what makes us happy?

Because I love holidays so much, I don’t ever want them to end. That’s why I like to extend holidays for as long as possible. Don’t judge me but I legit decorate for holidays over a month before they are even set to happen. Halloween? I decorate for it on September 1st. Christmas? My tree is up and decorated by November 1st. Sorry not sorry!

Decorating for holidays just warms my heart.

Sorry I’ve been MIA

Long time no see! I feel like I’m constantly saying that here on the blog. I promise I want to be more active with blogging but life keeps getting in the way I guess. What’s crazy is I have so many blog posts ideas (and a few drafts) but I just can’t seem to find the time to edit/post. It’s like I’ll start editing photos or writing out a post and then BOOM! something comes up and I have push back the post.

I have three posts I’ve been meaning to publish for almost two months now (one of which is almost done but it still needs to be edited a bit) but one thing after another keeps popping up and leaving me no time to edit/blog. There’s been some big changes in my life recently (with more to come, fingers crossed) that definitely take precedence over blogging BUT I’m really trying to find a balance.

Hopefully I can learn to balance things a little better!

Bath & Body Works Semi-Annual Sale
Consistent blogging? Look at me go. I don’t know what’s come over me but I’ve really been into blogging again! Yay. I think it’s because I took an almost year break from blogging. And also I’ve stopped putting so much pressure on myself when it comes to blogging. Blogging started off as a fun little hobby for me back when I was in college.

It then quickly become almost like a job/my career. I started earning a lot of money from blogging through ads, sponsorships collabs, etc. I also starting getting all these amazing opportunities because of my blog. (I’m actually thinking of doing a fun blog post related to some of the opportunities my blog has brought me). It was a great time but it was so stressful.

Now my blog is back to basically being a hobby again. And I love that!
