Happy December! It’s been a minute since I last posted. The hosting for this blog had expired and, if I’m being honest, I was thinking of not renewing it. I had 3 weeks to decide if I wanted to renew or lose Simply Sinova forever. But then I thought about all the work I’ve put into this blog over the past 8/9/10(?!) years. And I didn’t want to lose the memories. Even if I’m not as active and don’t post as much, I want to forever have this blog to look back on.

This blog represents a certain chapter of my life (a great chapter at that!). And for that reason I renewed the hosting! But enough rambling, time for another pin update~

Bits and Pieces: Disneyland During Halloween

Disneyland During HalloweenHappy Monday! I can’t believe October is almost over. How are we about to be 11 months into 2022?! I wanted to post two more posts before the month is up. The first post being this one and the second one being the part two to my monthly pin post that I promised.

One of my absolute favorite times to visit Disneyland is during Halloween time. The weather is perfect (well, normally it is. There was a heat wave when I went but let’s not talk about that). The Haunted Mansion becomes Haunted Mansion Holiday. The decor is top notch. And the seasonal food is mouth watering. 

I just LOVE Disneyland during the fall!

Bits and Pieces: Disneyland during Springtime

Disneyland during SpringtimeHello and happy June! Wait…it’s June?! How are we already SIX MONTHS into 2022? I feel like 2020 was really slow (for obvious reasons) but 2021, and now 2022, went by at light-speed. Maybe it’s because I’m busier now and that’s why I feel like time is going by so fast? You know what they say, “time flys when you’re having fun.” 

Off topic but who else watched the new season of Stranger Things last Friday? It’s crazy to think season 3 came out in 2019/three years ago. I know covid prevented them from filming for a bit but that’s such a long time between seasons. Did you guys like the new season? Personally I love it and it might be my favorite season since season one.

Bits and Pieces: Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival

Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival
Happy Monday everyone! I got back from my birthday Disneyland trip last Monday (technically Tuesday morning) so it’s the perfect time to start sharing little bits and pieces from the trip. It’s weird because normally I write my blog posts on my laptop but today I’m typing it up on my iMac so it’s a little different. I don’t use my iMac much so I’m trying to give it a little more attention. 

Any who, you all know that I love a good Epcot festival. The Festival of the Arts, the Flower and Garden Festival, the Festival of the Holidays and, of course, the Food and Wine Festival. But oddly enough, I’ve never gotten to experience a festival at DCA. So I was super excited when I learned that my birthday trip was going to fall during the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival.

Disney World vs. Disneyland During Halloween: Which is Better?As you all know, I LOVE holidays. No really, I love them. Christmas, Halloween, Easter, heck even Arbor Day! I just love celebrating. And no one does the holidays quite like the Disney Parks. With Halloween right around the corner, you might be wondering “Which is better during Halloween time, Disneyland or Disney World?”. Well, today I’m here to answer that question.

I’m going to be rating the parks based on five categorizes: Halloween Parties, Ride Layovers, Other Offerings Nearby, Treats and Decor. Each category will have a “winner”. In the end, the park with the most wins…wins!

Also, this post is essentially comparing Magic Kingdom (located in Walt Disney World Resort) and Disneyland (located within Disneyland Resort) during Halloween time.

So….. yeah.
