It’s October which means that the holiday season is OFFICIALLY among us! If you’ve been reading this blog for a while than you already know what a HUGE fan of holidays I am. From Christmas to Thanksgiving to the Fourth of July, there’s just something about the idea of ‘celebrating’ that makes me happy. You know what else makes me happy? My wonderful mother, Lilo! Lilo is a Chicago Public School teacher and if you’re from Chicago than you may have heard the rumors that CPS teachers might be going on strike next week (fingers crossed that they DON’T have to go on strike though. I’m looking at YOU Rahm Emanuel!). It breaks my heart to see Lilo (and so many other CPS teachers) so stressed out these days, especially since this is normally our favorite time of year (because who doesn’t love holidays?). 10 Reasons To Visit Disneyland During Halloween TimeI just got back from Disneyland yesterday and it was such a fun trip! People have asked me how I don’t get bored/sick of visiting the parks (especially since I visit Disneyland and Disney World every month, hooray for being a Disney Premier Passport holder) and it’s simple: there’s always something new to experience and discover. That’s what I LOVE about Disney, no two trips are ever the same. I could honestly visit the Disney Parks EVERYDAY and never get bored.

There’s always new memories to be made at Disney and that’s what keeps me coming back month after month (and for the rest of my life!) While I’m no stranger to visiting Disney during the holidays (I can’t wait to spend Christmas and New Years at Disney World again this year,) this was my first time experiencing Disneyland during Halloween time! I’m a sucker for all things holiday and all things Disney so combining the two was like a match made in heaven for me.

My family (me especially) LOVES holiday’s! Christmas, Easter, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, we love them all! Maybe it’s the decorations, themed TV/film specials, getting gifts or foods, but holiday’s have always been a big deal in my family! Since I graduated college in May, this will be the first Halloween I’ve spent in Chicago in almost four years! I’m excited because over the last two years, a lot of new families with young children have moved to our neighborhood. That means we’ll have lots of trick or treaters! I have the ‘early shift’ and I can’t wait to see all the cute costumes! After my shift, I’ll be spending my Halloween at several spooky establishments!
